In 2014, Sumip Composites supplied 9-meter and 4-meter GRP anchor-type poles with single and double side arms for installation at the Sardar Sarovar Dam, near the Statue of Unity site. The poles were specifically designed to meet the requirements of the high-wind and moist conditions of the area.

The poles were engineered to withstand wind speeds of up to 180 km/h and had a minimum glass content of 62%. The high wind pressure design was necessary due to the continuous moist and windy environment at the dam's location.
Performance in Harsh Environmental Conditions
Since the installation, the poles have consistently performed well under the continuous moist and windy atmosphere of the dam. Despite being exposed to such harsh conditions, they have remained functional without the need for maintenance, reflecting their durability and long-term reliability.
